... is being sent to the ETO 1.3 team. It is Dancat's fw189. This plane will be an AI version only.

It is the A1 version and carries 4 50kg and 3 crew. Plods along at 227 mph at 4800 feet. Don't get too close though it does strike back.

I made a realistic flightmodel and xdp.
 
You gave me a beta model of this quite awhile back and it had no landing gear so this one is more finished.
 
I think it always had a set of gears but I may not have animated them or maybe never named them.
I sent a copy of the model to Clive to make flyable when he can get around to it.
 
It has the main gear and I put in a rear gear contact point so it sits as it should on the ground.
 
It's very good that Dancat is finally opening his vault that seemed filled with models that were almost destined to become neverware! His screenies always made my mouth water.

I always had a taste for odd-looking a/c and with it's twin tailboom configuration and enormous greenhouse cockpit, the Fw-189 really did fit in my collection of plastic models. Having it as AI is great but I can only hope that someone (Ted?) will do the VC one day... Keep 'em coming, you two!!
 
I'm not at home actually so I don't have my books to check. If I remember well, a few of them have been operationnaly tested for the first time during the summer 1940 blitzkrieg.

Is it planned to build a skin for a such plane? It would be a great and unsusual addition to the W40 stuff available in ETO.
