I'm new here but I did check the FAQs, doing a search for the tiger buster 2 mission, and found no threads. I do apologize if this question has been answered somewhere. I've downloaded and properly installed the mission as well as the VP P51d, the ClassicAces 190 and the Asch scenery. I'm certain everything is installed properly, according to the instructions, but I get an error msg saying the mission file is either corrupt or formatted improperly. I've looked at the mis file using wordpad but can find nothing obviously wrong, and I cannot find any references to a correction being issued by the author. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!
 
Getting all the Aircraft...........is a pain

It is all the aircraft that needs to be installed.

I get around that by..................

just editing the mission file with notepad/word pad.........

For example ........I got the mission to run by changing the aircraft to stock

Go to you Mission folder........open Tiger Buster 2.mis with a text editor (notepad)..........

Here are the aircraft to look for at the bottom that came with in the original mission file.......

name=P-47D-25

name=P39D_AIRACOBRA

name=P51D Ridge Runner

name=VB BF109-F_JG3

name=VB Mosquito

"player_aircraft_name_string"=VB P51D Ridge Runner

I just change all the friendly including the player aircraft to....F6F3_HELLCAT

and enemy ...VB BF109-F_JG3..... to .......A6M2_ZERO

and saved mission file and it ran fine. (with the asch installer scenery from martin wrights site)

Once in the mission .......I changed my aircraft to a Skyraider......Ha.......Vat ist das Plane????Rock Crusher???...........Ver Kaput!!!!

Once you have it running this cheap way......it will open in mission builder.

You can add what ever planes you want .....and anything else from there.
