Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Tightening the screws.

Jack Miller has dominated the Japanese Grand Prix while Fabio Quartararo extended his MotoGP championship lead despite finishing eighth.

Despite qualifying seventh, the Ducati Lenovo Team’s Miller led by more than five seconds until he eased off on the final lap to seal a fourth premier class victory of his career with Brad Binder, his future team-mate at Red Bull KTM, second and Prima Pramac Ducati rider Jorge martin third.

Pole-sitter Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) took fourth at a sunny Motegi and Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) could barely advance from his qualifying position of ninth.

However, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), his nearest rival for the title, crashed while stalking the Frenchman on the 24th and final lap, and Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) also failed to score points when he could only get back to 16th from a pit lane start.

By the time the Australian MotoGP rolls round (3 weeks away!!!!) there's a fair chance we will seeing the Championship decider!

Great race by Jack Miller, but you wonder what the emotion is in the factory Ducati team. Can Jack Miller's wash a way the bad taste caused by the crash from Pecco Bagnaia?
Also a strong performance from the KTM team. But I actually think the qualification was more interesting than most of the race.

Cheers,
Huub

Thriller fan, just wish there was more consistency knowing he's capable of winning on the Duc. Need to read the post-race debrief from Pecco to see what he was thinking. Aleix can not catch a break. I do wonder how a wet Motegi might have turned out. Now off to watch WSBK to finish a busy racing weekend.
