Curious as to the time dates used in the post/threads. Are they local time of the reader local or sender?

It depends on how you have set your preferences and if your area uses 'daylight savings time'. Once set up the times are local to you. Here's how to set your preferences:


1. Click on the 'Settings' text link in the top right corner of the screen.

2. Scroll down the left panel on the new page and in the 'My Settings' box click on 'General Settings'.

3. Scroll down to the 'Date & Time Options' section on the new page and use the drop-down menus to set your preferences.

4. At the very bottom of the page click on the 'Save Changes' button.

The times will now be displayed in your local time with any offset for DST applied (if required).
