I've been away from here for awhile... overly distracted with ArmA2 and also in getting my Q6600 2.4ghz overclock up to 3.7ghz (was stable at 3.3 previously) so I'm rather happy about that. Also, since I've finally broken down and got a TrackIR5 on the way I thought I should get FSX happening properly again. As it stands I've installed/unintalled/reinstalled SO many things testing this, tweaking that etc etc that I think my FSX install is a bit... grubby. Bloated. You know. It takes ages to start up, and even asks if I want to allow addons that don't even exist on the system anymore.
I initially thought just dumping the FSX.CFG might be enough, but now I'm thinking I might give it a good flush/reinstall just to have it running it's best (with only the addons I've decided are must-haves) for when the TrackIR shows up.
Hope everyone is well around here. Will be nice to get back to flying again.
