Apparently not according to the description on the Smithsonian's site

The jet version would potentially have been a winner removing all the torque issues and reported transmission vibration, but probably introducing a lot of other issues given the bleading edge technology.

Anybody know the flight history of this aircraft? My "Francine" book on Japanese aircraft is burried at home somewhere and I have not found it.

Did the plane fly? Did it complete flight test? Were and production models built and flown?

I just don't remember! T

IIRC, it was only flown once or twice before the end of the war and never flown again.
