Ok silly question time.......how are you guys getting her into space please. I can just get to 60+K but then just don't have enough power or speed as it just keeps dropping.

This is the mod I cooked up in the config. file. But to get to altitude, I,ve been flying a sanger flight profile,
accelerating,climbing ballisticly, descending to build delta V, performing course changes while down at 150,000ft where you have some bite to maneouver,
and climbing ballisticly.
So, set fuel to unlimited. According to canon, its nuclear powered (direct/indirect cycle SCRAM? Gaseous tranfer fission Variable cycle? Thermofenortinized
elastopogoelectric?) so we are running engines with opperating cycles way outside of what the MSFS drivers allow.suffice to say, the A/B really dumps out the fuel now.
Normal T/O ,NO A/B.Gear up/ flaps up. keep airspeed under 500 kts untill you get her trimmed up into a +10 deg climb. A/B select. At 800 kts the elevons become
ineffective, so, like 'pard Chuck found out, controll pitch with trim. At 120,000-150,000ft, I'll levelout, make course changes, then accelerate and climb, use AOA
to maintain airspeed at 200-400 kts, and can reach 390,000+. Its twitchy, so a smooth hand on the stick, and carefull attitude controll before going ballistic, about
+10 deg , wings level, A/B out throttle to idle and air brakes for some stability. watch for the 'bump' when you get bite on the flying surfaces, things can get
a bit hairy then. It should be flown by autopilot, as the accountant gets all sweaty at the thought of pureed PAX, But The X-15, and a lot of Orbiter descents
have been flown down to the button by hand. With lots of silicon in the middle. So far, I've only died horribly once!
