I certainly remember this day every year as my late father was there, he was a Royal Marine Commando at Sword Beach.

I'm named after my uncle who was killed in the the first wave,still in the landing craft, on Omaha Beach. He lied about his age , he just turned 17 shortly before he was killed. I'm honored to have his name.
