Tom Kohler's RB-50's

Guys,

This has probably been dealt with before, but:

What's the story with Tom Kohler's RB-50 panels? I can't get them over about 60% power.

In my kindest charity, WTF!?

Marc

Marc, since nobody replied to your question I d/l'ed the RB-50F from Flightsim.com. I am presently at 20,000' at 215 kts IAS, throttles at 85%. That seems about right to me. My throttles have full travel to 100%. I have attached the panel.cfg file, just change the ".txt" to ".cfg". Hope this helps you. :)

I tried the file. Still can't get any more than 41" MP when my throttle is firewalled. Tried troubleshooting the joystick; cfg is fine. I might download the B-39 panel and see if it is better. Also, this is crazy...when I cycle the views it will come back to the 2D panel and then change on it's own to the virtual panel. What the heck is going on here??

Marc

I might just try to reinstall...

Glad you clarified a bit of that.. I was trying to figure out how a panel could produce 60% power. Now I see you are talking about the engines :icon_lol:
First, are you talking about Sea Level, 10K, 20K, FL300? Have to got auto-mixture enabled? did you change out any gauges and/or make sure they are installed properly?
If you switch immediately to another a/c do the throttles respond normally?
(I have to go to work but can work through some of it tonight or tomorrow to see what other issues there might be)

As it should be.. Tom included Doug Dawson's 'view-skip' gauge so it ignores the 2D panel. The a/c is intended to be flown from the VC.

Found out what it was. I think my grandson changed the sensitivity settings on the joystick. When I reset to default, everything works fine.

P.S. Thanks for all of the good tries. It really is usually something simple, isn't it. Here's one on me, y'all! :guinness:

Glad you got it sorted out. Mrs Willy is the only one allowed to touch my computer and she's got a couple of her own so she don't mess with mine.
