"Toolbar" setting in VR

Hi,
In VR in FS 2024, but I can't turn off the "instrument" band along the lower end of the screen (the one that appears in external view mode), any references to "Toolbar" seem to refer to the one at the top of the screen. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
 
Just got back into trying VR, had the Quest 3 the first time, now have the lower end Quest 3S. Does your VR settings revert back to default settings every time you fly in VR? Mine seems to. I've a couple great flights but it usually takes a few tries to get it going, lots of freezing up and chaos on my screen and then I have to shut everything down and try again.
 
Yep, I have the newest beta. I think I was starting too many apps and it was messing it up. I was starting virtual desktop when I was wired to the PC.
