Top 10 Bad Beverage Ideas

The frightful thing in America is that we will buy almost ANYTHING, at least for a while. You could market "Microwaveable Frickaseed Cat Crap" and some folks would buy it, try it, and try to act like it wasn't too bad. . . !

I still can't get over the success enjoyed (briefly) by "Pet Rocks".

I think I still have a package of Cat Crap in the freezer. Melt a couple American cheese slices on top and it ain't bad. :d
It's easy to write off the marketing people as idiots but for each of those products there was a high-paid executive who said, "Wow, that's a great idea!" :icon_lol:

for me, that was a real eye opener. when i saw all those people going out of their way to buy a rock i knew that if something was marketed properly, people truly would buy anything. a lesson i'll never forget.

is it like going to your local fitness club and at the lobby they sell fruitshake with protien, milk and carbonated drink? :bump:

they mention it being popular in japan, following up with a mention of a cheez flavored drink. trust me on this one - in japan, they eat and drink alot of weird stuff. my inlaws send a big box to the wife and kids about 4 times a year. it's full of stuff that continues to amaze me. i know better now than to think i've "seen it all"

why in the heck would someone make candy flavored like pickled plums?
why pickle a plum in the first place?
sometimes they send packages of these horrid crackers that, to my palate taste like a baby just threw up in my mouth.
they make these things that are supposed to be like a starburst, but taste and look like they stripped the sole from a converse all-star.
however, they do have candy that's really good, and the packaging can be quite entertaining. especially the one with the racoon that has giant testicles.

Cheezy,.....wow,....a packaged candy product displaying a raccoon with giant testicles. Heh-heh. I'd love to see that. Next time before you rip into another bag of this candy,.....maybe you can the scan the picture beforehand and up load it here.
And I always thought the Japanese were modest people when it came to displaying and conversing of various body parts. Course' this deals with a raccoons private parts,...not a human's. :icon_lol:

I like to go to a Japanese Market here and just laugh at the packaging and the stuff inside......but remember that in Ecuador, one of the main dishes of he country is indeed a very big guinea pig!!!!!!!..check it out...( if you want to try the recepy get one at your pet shop and feed it well for about 6 months, then cook!!!)
