TopFlightSimulations Ryan STM-S2

To be honest, I haven't heard anything from Chris Herring for a very long time as well. Last thing I remember he sold his payware models via Razbam.

It's early Sunday morning here, my brains are not fully operational yet....

Chris Herring's Ryan ST-M-S2 is payware; only what is listed in the freeware section of Herring's site - topflightsimulation is freeware: https://topflightsimulation.yolasite.com/freeware.php

All of Chris Herring's releases were previously available at his now defunct TopFlightSimulation FS Models Store; many [but not all] are still available to purchase from the Razbam Simulations store: https://www.razbamsimulationsllc.com/aircrafts

Ryan ST-M-S2 is unfortunately one that is not available from Razbam

Edit: if it's any consolation, swingman created a wonderful Ryan ST-A for FS2004 https://www.avsimsu.com/f/fs2004-originalnie-samoleti-40/1936-ryan-sta-sta-special-46579.html and there is a ST-M conversion for CFS2 by @beepee , available here in the SOH library: https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/resources/cfs2-st-a-ryan-zip.2706/

cheers!

The last I hard from Chris he'd posted here after an absence when he'd been fighting cancer. At the time he was working on one of the post-WW1 Army Air Corps bombers (Martin? Keystone? Can't recall.) Then we didn't hear from him after that. That was at least a few years ago. Maybe longer - I'm at an age where the years go by like months.

the Martin Bomber MB-2 to be exact, and per his PMs, it was almost done, with the exception of "compile issues", and Chris planned to release it as soon as he had it all sorted, of course as payware; per his last PM to me, in Dec 2021, he planned on updating the Topflightsimulation website with several additions. Anyhow, I did not hear back from him after that, and his website is still much the same...

cheers!

This seems like good news. If he had gone west he wouldn't be paying his hosting service and his site would be gone. Or so it would seem.
