alphachannel Tom, the alpha on the spec map controls the amount of reflected colour, have a look at my pearlescent E540 to see what i mean...

even with alpha full white there is shine could it be hardcoded in the model?

FSX AND 9 RE-INSTALLED... good to go... repainting the spitfire scheme.... well i might just have to PRU Blue one with Invasion Stripes...leg 2: Lee-on-Solent to Caen (and time permitting Paris) we'll need to be airborne at least an hour earlier to give us a chance, so 1400GMT Departure (1500 in Austria Tom) gives us our best chance...

have just looked into time Lee-on-Solent - Caen took when flying the ARX-5X around (28min)
saturday like last weekend?

14.00 saturday is good for me, and sorry Matt got a bit carried away on St Paddy's day last night, will do that job for you tonight bud!:salute:

Ohh and I have the Glass Air and it is a great model, works fine in fsx and has a nice VC! I wouldn't call it an aerobatic aeroplane, sports maybe but it is fast and you can roll it and do some manouvres in it, but I wouldn't be doing tail slides and Lomcevak's in it!
 
Excellent, make sure you have the American Cemetery installed that Tom found... should be good fun, and it inspired me, slowly i'm building Atlantic Wall bunkers for them warbird pilots... Edge 540 re-installed, and repaints back in :D just gotta speak to you Peter once work is over...:jump:

Tom do you have msn, I need a chat to you and Matt I will be there for 14.00 but I need to talk about aircraft, I'm not flying the Edge nor any aerobatic aircraft over normandy I think we should fly that leg in warbirds, I'm flying the A2A Spitfire Mk.I of Adolf "Sailor" Malan and I want you guys to do the same, I mean I'm flying the A2A Spit you can fly the same or any, Real Air, Classics Hanger, Aircraft Factory, Vertigo Studios, FCS or Sky Unlimited over the beaches of Normandy!!! Why fly aerobatic FREE crap when we can fly the warbirds, I'm not disrespecting my Grandfather by flying free crap in missing man formation especially without "corkscrew" Rintala in an A2A bird lol! I know its an aerobatic tour and we've been practicing in our Edges, Sukhoi's and Aerworks' but it doesn't seem right to me to fly Omaha and the graveyards in anything but warbirds! Next leg YES but not this one ehh guys?
