Tornado GR1 in-development

Hmm, that is slightly troubling as TacPack was the main reason I pre-purchased it. I hope I'm wrong, but it appears as though TP implementation will not be released as quick as it was made to sound. Or not as complete.

how about learning to fly this thing first?? pre flight procedures, starting procedures, the flight systems (at least the ones that are modelled) im sure theres a lot stuff to learn first before shooting others out of the sky....
i mean how can tacpack be THE reason to pre-purchase if this is the only thing that matters for you you can go with a lot of other aircraft

this is not ment to be rude at all... just wondering :wavey:

Because that was MY draw to it. There arent many TP enabled aircraft that have actually made it into release (tons on paper). And a proper Tornado with the ability to A/R and employ weapons was very lacking.

A lot of purists keep saying if you want a combat sim, go to DCS or whatever. Well, that is an even bigger mess so...
I enjoy being able to do a complete flight profile in this type of aircraft. Start up, taxi, takeoff, low level and weapon training. Then RTB for some circuits. Otherwise I'd fly a Cessna or commercial people hauler on a mind numbing route.

That's the joy of FSX/P3D. You can make it what you want.

As far as I am aware there isn't a 27 paint in the release product but I have made some 27 paints that I will release once the aircraft has been released.

What is the issue with the wing roundels?

Hi Dale,

If you look at the 2 Sqn jet as an example, the ratio of red to blue is different on the wing, compared with that on the intake side, generally they should be the same. The one on the intake side looks more correct to me.

BTW if you are doing some 27 Sqn paints, could I request some early versions that had numbers on the tail rather than letters? Please.

YoYo, there is the JP233 on the model which is the RAF version, as Ferry posted its based on the Gr1 so only those weapons are modelled.
 
I know I'm jumping the gun a little, but I'd appreciate it if one of the talented painters out there could consider doing this 14 squadron paint (I know it's a Gr4 really, but who's counting)

Ian, at least it's predecessor from 1990 will be included in the base pack.
