This is one myth that needs to be clarified. J-10 uses the pure delta wing platform of one earlier all Chinese bird, the J-9, very similar to Swedish Viggen. Lavi one is an arrow platform. The Israeli input were in the systems, radar and avionics. The Israeli FBW changed for one developed by RAK-MiG when the aircraft turned bigger and heavier. To reverse enginereer it to a Lavi would demand a lot of work. Maybe we got a J-10B.
