Trip to Dubai 2010.....

We (USS Nimitz and other battle group ships) visited Dubai three times when we were in the Gulf in 1991. In fact it was the only place we visited while in the Gulf. I don't recall being impressed, but don't put too much weight in that evaluation - we were sailors, after all, and mostly we wanted to know where the bars were. They could be found, but they seemed to be well hidden. It was hot, dusty, and deserty looking! So what's "Dubai 2010"? Game? Movie? Future vacation plans?
 
I liked Dubai, worth visiting at least once in your life, if only to admire the architecture, some truly fascinating modern buildings there, need we mention the Burj-El-Arab? wowee, thats a beautiful building :kilroy:
