It is a mean machine AI, and fun to shoot up things with..
 
To be honest all I have done is load up the XDP.. Lots of choices..

The work has been by Stump, and with the Help of;
Major Magee, textures, and cockpit, and Slip Stream, for the aircraft cfg.. and the amended XDP..

It is a unfinished IL-2, and needs a bit of love..
But works well enough to add to this mission set for all to see what can be possible..
Just need to finish it from a AI to an Full model bird..
It truly is a work in progress, for someone to love..
 
Maybe we could make this a priority similar to the B-24 released a while back for ETO. I for one would help out.
 
The Il-2 I included in the Second Eastern Front Mission package MAW..
I am finishing setting it all up for release..

There will be some Il-2 missions along with the other Russian aircraft
I have to use from our Masters
I have set up different scenery locations and use the eastern areas of MAW for these missions..
I will release a set in the Urals, and near Moscow,,this time around..
Building these is a hassle, there isn't alot of airbases(NONE) in the eastern areas of MAW, so i am placing everything by Hand to set it all up..
I Like Eye candy..
An I am importing several new items and effects into MAW from ETO for this set..
To spice up MAW for future use..
Full instuctions will be included, so this will be simple for all to load up..

Thanks to Nigel, Andy, Slip Steam, Jaycee, and several others for their
help in getting the Birds and skins together on the first set of Eastern front Missions..
This set will continue the first package left off..

I am hopeful this will give some of our Masters more reasons to build a few More Russian birds for all of us..If there is a request from the public for this..
 
So the il-2 will still be ai right or are you subbing a pit already made from another plane?Also, will this mission set work with ETO. I dont have MAW yet.
 
The AI IL-2 has a cockpit from the Master Major Magee in it..
She is flyable, and is used in a couple of Attack missions in the Eastern front missions I am setting up..
This set is for MAW, but the aircraft can be used in ETO, I have Her there also for testing..
The IL-2 is a work in progress..
 
Great to hear from you Stump! I'm really looking forward to the Il-2, any word on the J2F Duck you made a little while ago?
