Truk Atoll has been uploaded. This is a major naval base and airbase for the Japanese in World War II. Truk is found in Micronesia.

I guess it is near impossible to go diving in the general vicinity of that area, without finding something remaining from WWII. Because of the tremendous number of ships that were sunk and remain in a very well preserved state to this day, it is considered to be one of the best wreck diving sites in the world.

I like this

I like this and thanks very much for this. I red the instlall PDF files and I am pretty sure I followed the installation directions however, there was mentioned : "The last is the auxillary airfield on Parum Island"

I don't see this Parum Island in my airports selection

No Auxiliary Airfield Selection

You are completely correct. You can land and take off from the auxiliary field on Parum but it did not have a name so I didn't add it. I thought it would be kind of fun for folk to have to look for it also. If you have any trouble finding it (You probably won't) you could look up which island is Parum and find it that way.

That would make folks check into history which makes things all the more fun.

Enjoy the scenery, you may even find a little surprise when flying over the Dublon Naval Station if you make the approach just right.

Thanks guys for the kind comments. I will be away for the next four days. There is a report of several of the outer islands having reverse wave action. I have GEX and UTX installed and my wave action is very limited. Once I return and with some help as to which islands this occurs, I can fix it very easily and post a patch. Back on Thursday.

Reverse Waves!!

The reverse wave situation has been remedied thanks to [FONT=&quot]Dave Siegrist . With GEX, UTX and REX installed I see waves sometimes. Dave sees them all the time and did some great work detailing which islands had the reverse waves. I have corrected all the shore lines and am waiting for Dave to give me the green light to give you a small file that corrects the problem. Thanks again to Dave for all his hard work. Just a quick question. Cannot see any antiaircraft tracers. Is there any antiaircraft fire in this scenery?

robert41, sorry, no anti-aircraft tracers in this scenery. Have you been able to trigger the air raid siren at Dublon naval facility? There is a point near the east trees that will cause the siren to go off. Have fun!!

Roger on the no tracers. I was thinking maybe my install was messed up.
Yes I found the siren by accident. I landed a small plane on the base and was looking around when the siren went off. Very loud, and did not know if something was going to blowup on me, so i got out of there in a hurry.

Alright I give. Is it on the airfield on the little island, or at the large facility with all the storage tanks?
