Trying to remove Meteor drop tanks using alpha

I thought i'd try removing the wing drop tanks on the mk8 Alpha Meteor, to make the wings clear for anyone else to make up a dedicated dp file. i found the texture and gave it an alpha channel, im quite pleased with the result but there's a few minor hitche's, the gear doors and belly tank which share the same texture sheet become transparent when view'd through the tanks and im still getting a very faint outline of the tank its self,
I can live with this but if there's a better way, id like to know.

I'll second that! Also, the same process would be nice for the Alpha F3D Skynight.

Forget the alpha. If you have the time, send r to me and I'll explain in detail how it get rid of them using Bearcats method (or you can just ask Bearcat241).

Maybe I just held my mouth right but this alpha'd texture seems to lack the unwanted side effects, give it a try.

Your certainly welcome. The one that I did for the Alpha F3d also is OK other than still showing the tanks in the ground shadow.
