Tu-154 fssound.dll problem (FSX Steam)

Hi guys,

at the moment my fsx makes more problems than I expected:
I installed the newest Project Tupolev 154 for my FSX SE. This was about 6 weeks ago. Everything worked good.
But suddenly the plane needs about 1 minute to load. When I want to start a flight, the game freezes and chrashes. I looked in the windows error report and there is a problem with the fssound.dll. This module came with the tupolev and is located in the fsx main folder. I have a folder called "modules" as well, the only .dll in it is the fsuipc stuff.

I really do not know where the problem is at the moment. I did not install anything after the Tu, which needs this dll file. So it happened suddenly. I also checked my fsx.cfg for the part "oldmodules". I do not have it, yet. The plane worked good for weeks.

Any ideas?

Greetings
Martin

Sounds like the fssound.dll is corrupt file. Maybe reinstalling the Tu-154 the problem can be solved.

Also just something worth noting - ensure that when you first load the 154 in-game, it's in 2D panel mode by default. (You can select this as a setting within the FSX Display controls - downside is that it of course affects all other aircraft addons). You can then right click in an open area (like out the window) to switch to the VC.
I don't think that this would have any bearing on this problem, but it could prevent more in the future.
