Tufuns Howard 500 (Add Shockwave lights)

FSX68

Banned
OK Ted,

Hope you don't mind, I wanted to add shockwave lights to this puppy and for the most part, it's not too shabby IMHO.

Here is the recipe:
//light.10= 5, -1.54, -18.95, 0.06, fx_landing.fx
light.10= 5, -1.54, -18.95, 0.06, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light
light.11= 5, -1.54, 18.90, 0.02, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light
//light.11= 5, -1.54, 18.90, 0.02, fx_landing.fx

I //'ed out light 10/11 and replaced with what you see above.

I noticed that the red/port and starboard/green wing tips lights (What we called in the Navy as Anti-Smash lights) are nothing more the blinking white lights.

I tried to make modifications adding shockwave lights where you see them but there are no flashing red/green lights visible shock wave or standard. :pop4:
//light.0= 3, -0.9, -36.0, 3.05, NAV_Red//fx_navred
light.0= 3, -0.9, -36.0, 3.05, NAV_Red//Fx_shockwave_navred
light.1= 3, -0.9, 36.0, 3.05, NAV_Green//Fx_shockwave_navgre
//light.1= 3, -0.9, 36.0, 3.05, NAV_Green//fx_navgre

Also, it there a way for the pilots stick to be visable like the co-pilots?

The aircraft model is fs9, and I'm not familiar with much of the setting in the aircraft.cfg.

The control columns are activated with the forward slash.

Try this...

light.0= 3, -0.9, -36.0, 3.05, Fx_shockwave_navred
light.1= 3, -0.9, 36.0, 3.05, Fx_shockwave_navgre

From the pics, looks like landing lights need to move forward some. The light effect is showing behind the lamps. Overall looks pretty good to me. ;)

Changed shockwave landing lite beams

I read in the Shock wave manual that there are other landing lights to choose from; I tried using these:
The manual states:
Fx_shockwave_landing_light_short
Shorter beam – we placed these in the Lear to improve the smoothness of the beam (reduce the ripples on the
fuselage) when close and below the aircraft

I kinda like these a little better

Ted: You are right, the beam is a tad aft of the light housing, I guess I could play with the numbers to center it spot on from just aft of the lense cover.
