There is a FS2004 TB-3 by Icarus Gold @ Flightsim: http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=163991 which drops right into CFS2 without converting. The bad news is that to use it in missions or combat, the 'lightstates' entries in the .mdl file(s) will have to be changed ( I'm giving myself major eyestrain here) & of course a new airfile & DP will be needed. I kinda wonder if this is an approved upload as nothing is mentioned in the downloaded file. It still is referred to as payware.

Oldwheat,

Without info, I need to assume it's payware.

Guys,

IIRC there used to be a CFS2 version of this one from Abacus, I think Jagd had it? It had underwing Rata's as a payload or something.

Yes - two of them. I don't know of any other aeroplane which carried multiple offspring.

It seems to have 'gone Elvis' from the Flightsim downloads which seems to confirm the unapproved download theory, Damn, it would be nice to have at least a good freeware ai for the Finnish & Russian campaigns. I gave up on finding the 'light states' entries in the .mdl file, it's just too damn big!

TB 3

Yes, the Icarus TB 3 is the one that I have.

At first it would CTD, but a few Emails and coordination with Icarus produced a model that is usable as AI.

JD, You've got a heck of a memory!

I can't get mine to fly in CFS 2 - I get a picture of the aircraft in the preview pane followed by a message saying there is a problem with the model. Now that I am using Windows 7 64 bit, MDLC no longer works.

Any advance on five?

I bought the package from Icarus. I got the FS2002, FSX, and CFS2. Their install file is weird, you get 6 installs and then the file don't work. I just did one install to a blank directory and rezipped them. If I ever have the time to learn .dp, I'm going to make one has 3 I-15s across the top. BTW, I followed the link and it said the file was no longer there.
