Turn Your Knob

If I was smart I'd look at that every day for the rest of my life.

May just do it anyway!

And man, it means it's been nine years since I was there....

Thanks, Joe!

Oh My Oh My Oh My :applause:

Awsome footage !

Thanks Joe.

Help my attention longer than my wife does...LOL :pop4:

Awesome Video!!

What the heck was that Virgin aircraft with the 2 fuselages attached on a center wing?? Never saw anything like that before!

And I was disappointed for the guy near the end on the scooter... despite keeping up with the plane next to him, I really don't think he's going to get that scooter off the ground lol.

That'll be the Mothership for the "Virgin Galactic" SpaceShipOne... Which is rather a misnomer on many counts, as it can only do a parabola, not reach orbit, but hey. ;)

I need a new keyboard now after spitting coffee all over it. Quote of the day George :ernae:

I'm not sure if it was because my morning coffee was kicking in as I was watching, but damn, this video gave me chills.

Outstanding video
Great and unique show
I'm an EAA member and I've been there quite a few times ..... something

The cuts in the video and choice of music just...work. Wow.

I've got soul, but I'm not a so(u)ldier...heck yeah!

Thanks IanP and jetstreamsky, I had no idea what that thing was, but I just kept thinking that if they could get rid of the outer wings, it might be a precursor to the Cloud Cars of Bespin lol (Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back reference, for those who may not get it).

daytonite_andy, sorry about the keyboard, just hang it upside down for a few weeks, and if that doesn't dry it out, we could try and get in touch with that guy on the scooter to see if he can hold it in his hands as he speeds between planes, possibly air-drying it? lol. :d

Haha the only thing better than watching videos of it is being there yourself. :engel016:

White Knight Two/Virgin Galactic was just incredible. That thing can take off like a F-22. Under 50% thrust it took off at a 40 degree angle. :isadizzy:

:engel016: That's what HEAVEN looks like! :engel016:

Dad must be REALLY enjoying it then. :engel016:

Going to be making it a priority next year to rent an RV in Chicago and drive up for the whole weeklong experience... something I had always put off but it's something I need to do.

We can have a SOH campsite... airplanes by day....Grilling and beer at night. :wavey:

Wow, that's pretty amazing! Just out of curiosity, is it completely piloted from one side, split with the pilot on one side and the co-pilot on the other, or are separate flight crews required for each individual side? That's really one wild looking aircraft.
