Hello-

Great program! Man, did those guys have to put up with some kind of crap! Even from their CO's! Fortunately, they had the Luftwaffe to take it out on...

I hereby tip my cap to them all...

Roger That! :salute: :medals::medals::medals: The surviving Airmen eventually got their medals, much too late.

Definitely!
To maintain your composure at home stateside while witnessing German POWs having more rights & being treated better must have required herculean levels of inner strength.

I'm honored & humbled to say that as a kid, I had a neighbor who was a Tuskegee Airman....

Saw it. Remember, at the time, the US had fully legal apartheid. During this same time frame, one of my uncles took his basic training in a small town in Mississippi. According to him there was a big sign right outside the town which said "N*gg*r, read and run!!!" Lots of changes. I'll be going to see Red Tails next week. I'll write my review after I've seen the movie. I'll not say anything more about that film till then.
