Mark,
I have to ask: are you using pedals or joystick twist for rudder? I think they 'act' differently as far as effect on roll, etc is concerned. With the pedals behaving more 'correctly'(?) on turns. But I don't have padals, so can't test, so I might be wrong. I am well familiar with the saying 'Step On The Bubble' for co-ordinated turns. But due to the model 'specs' in FltSim it might be harder to 'do' turns right (even with tweaks). I downloaded 'dhc6_400_x.zip' and will install it tonight and see what 'gives'. More later.
