FS2002/FS2004 Curtiss Hawk II German Demonstration. In 1934 the German government bought two Hawk IIs for demonstrations in dive bombing. One of aircraft represented was flown by Ernst Udet during the 1936 Berlin Olmypics. Model fully animated, with panel and VC. Model, panel and textures by Eduardo Fadul. Engine model by Tom Eads. Sound file by Tim Dement. Repaint and new VC panel by Caz Dalton.

You must have Eduardo's colhawk.zip first, I don't know why FlightSim did not link it, I did when I sent it up.

Looking great, Caz! :applause:
Already loading...

Interesting detail:
It's said that Ernst Udet purchased these planes 'as a private person', in fact sponsored by the Luftwaffe, subsequent evaluation granted. His personal contacts to AAC members made this deal possible.
His intention of course was to demonstrate the efficiency of dive-bombing, which he was obsessed of.

Please pardon me for playing the wise a$$ here, Caz!
Now I see that you've included this information within your readme...

Brilliant work on the textures, thank you for this occasion to visit my hometown again:

I like the code/lettering on the side: D-ISIS. Reminds me of one of my favorite movie lines: DIS IS Sparta!
