A week or 2 away, a full color photo UIRES set for the US Navy.

I've been collecting WWII Navy color photos for the last year with this project in mind. Since I'm almost finished, I wanted to put a preview out.

Kurt,

Boy, talk about something that would be greatly appreciated and is badly needed. I can't wait...but take your time to finish it! :ernae: :medals:

I've spent most of my CFS2 stick time in naval action over the years. I always thought Ajax's superb PTO URIES package was crème de la crème, but all i can say to this is...WOW !!!...and greatly appreciated. :icon29: :medals:

Looks great, any recommended historical movie clips to go with it to get away from those dreaded cartoons ?

Excellent!!

I´m an ETO fun but I enjoy a lot doing some carrier traps. I feel like a hook is growing under my Spit.

Thanks, Discus

Well thank you guys, that's pretty overwhelming. Let me get the set finished and posted though. Never know, you may not like to whole package. I'm traveling this week and won't be able to get back to the project until the weekend but I hope to get it sent in shortly thereafter.

Just uploaded it, so should be available shortly. I wanted to do a high quality background set for the U.S. Navy to replace the cartoon stock CFS2 UIRES screens. It's done almost 100% WWII period Kodachrome photos - the one exception is the captured screen. There are no color photos available for that one. Otherwise, the quality of the photos range from acceptable to astounding. Especially one photo I used for the mission loading screen which looks to be SBDs that are returning from the Battle of Midway, taken over the Midway lagoon. Notice the cowling ring dents and horizontal tail damage on aircraft number 5. The original photo is just titled "Midway".

Anyway, I hope you all will enjoy the game screen graphics upgrade.
