UFO?!

Dang . . . that was quick SS! I didn't think it would be that easy.

Yeah, I finally got around to mod'ing Mark Rude's Dragonfly. Thanks to Jaycee who made the floats and other loadouts.:salute:

These should be ready in a week or two. Just gotta tie up some loose ends and touch bases with Mark. There could potentially be dozens of these in the DL section . . . there are that many schemes to choose from. Mostly American - primary user and only user in the Korean war IIRC, but there will be a bunch of post war skins too for Britain, Canada, Australia and Japan.

The flight model is by no means perfect but is pretty close as CFS3 can make it I think. It even has torque that wants to spin the tail around so you've gotta stay on the rudder. If anyone wants to beta test it, please PM me.

carrier landing

fast ??? lol here are pics from july landing on the carrier.i was waiting for squiffy to repair the contact points and landing gear.that never happened.so i posted last week for help on the points. ted steped up to the plate to fix them for us. i'm calling mine a 98%chopper.it takes off near vertical(with the bad points) and lands vertical.and as you've stated a slight rt rotation. the program sees no foward motion as a crash situation.so the slight rt rotation is nessasary to keep it hovering.i thought no one else was even interested in choppers.

Wonderful.. I can't wait to wreck this, I mean fly this..

Thanks to our Masters and their team work on this..
BRAVO..
:salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:

Yea I was wondering who (what) the hobbit-footed thing was in the first screen shot myself...

Wow! . . . I didn't think any one else was working on this either!

I've had this a long time and it has taken this long just to get the flight model reasonably close to a real chopper. The CFG file is hacked and butchered like crazy . . . and don't get me started on the amphibian conversion. Mine doesn't hover but has very little forward motion and uses "flaps" to control speed.
I think we should compare notes . . check your PM.:wiggle:
