Upsetting indeed , Wittpilot. From you own words, nothing else was touched. The perpetrator & your
Grandpa know one another, as the thief knew exactly what they were after as well as where it was.

Having had my grandpa taken advantage of, am feeling your frustration.

It would be nice if that were the case... but there is just no way.... No one is ever in that house but me and my folks.... and family at the holidays.... I had a discussion with him the other day and he had an idea that made quite a bit of sense.... He thinks it could have been one day when he was mowing the yard.... If he was mowing in the back, and the garage door was open... that gives easy access to the bedroom, which is the first room you come to once you enter the house from the garage... thief could have been in and out in less than a minute... Still doesn't explain why they left pills, & the .45 clips.... but oh well... we'll just sit and wait to see if the guns ever turn up...

Not to down play the loss Witt, but if it appears this was just an in and out kinda thing and they only grabbed the first thing that looked important, you might want to chalk it up to stupid neighborhood kids.

Get the police over and see if they want to do some dustings, might never know what could turn up.

Next time tell Pops to shut the house up when he's in back.
