Looks like a fake to me, Kevin. That old stringbag so close to a B-47 jetwash would come to a sticky end, methinks. Scale doesn't look right either.

Maybe it's just the camera angle that makes it look like they are closer than they really are. Agreed the jet wash would crumble it to pieces otherwise.

If it is real then I gotta give it to the camera man for getting that shot. Theres no way that B-47 could fly slow enough to stay with that other plane, so there must have been only a very brief time to have taken that shot with both planes in frame. At any rate I wish I could have been there to see a B-47 flying that low!
