Updated props and exh effects for Rebuffat's Bf109 and Merlin Spits loaded!
Well, the upload engine is working fine so.....:d
As anticipated, these textures are intended to complement SOH member Morton's recent release of extremely accurate historical repaints for Rebuffat's Bf109F-2 and F-4. Morton released also very nice repaints of Rebuffat's Spitfire MkVIII, depicting historical aircrafts which fought in the ETO, MTO and Far East, all available at www.sim-outhouse.com.
So, while I was at it, I also added exhaust effects and updated prop textures for Rebuffat's Merlin-engined Spitfire late marks. These latter effects will not fit longer nosed Rebuffat's Rolls Royce Griffon-equipped MkXII and MkXIV.
Besides, the enclosed aircraft.cfg's provide [contact_point] sections for the following Rebuffat's models:
- Bf109F2, F4
- Bf109G-2
- Bf109G-4
- Bf109G-6
- Bf109G-6/AS
- Bf109G-6/R6
- Bf109G-10/AS, G-14/AS
- Bf109K-4
and
- Spitfire MkIX, MkIXC
- Spitfire MkVIII
The above [contact_point] sections will give you realistically timed asymmetrical landing gear retraction and damage speeds. Be careful not to exceed those speeds with your landing gear extended!
