Hey guys,

Had a little mishap at work today and took a header face-first down a flight of stairs like I was on a sled run. Needed several stitches, but aside from breaking my glasses and chipping a tooth, I am doing okay.

No broken bones or fractures, no neck trauma, no back trauma, no concussion. So, all things considered, it was a "good" fall. So I'll be resting a lot, and SOH probably won't be in my mind's top drawer, at least for a couple of days...

You have got to be more careful. Just remember this quote by Frau Blücher: Stay close to the candles. The stairway can be... treacherous.

Glad to read the list of what didn't happen, as a result of this, but I can't imagine you're feeling too peppy. Hope the aches and pains wears off soon.
 
Dang Rami! Your supposed to land with gear down! :black_eyed:That fall could really have been bad. Glad you are getting cared for and hope you heal quickly.
 
Ouch!! Know what it is like doing a face plant down stairs. Less speed and hold on to the rail:biggrin-new:. Seriously, I hope you recover asap.

Bit of damage, but it could have been worse. Falls down stairs can be pretty bad.
Take it easy and recover.
