I can't get the engine to spool up (from the idle) no matter what payload I give the jet. Won't work even with a clean config. :isadizzy: Soooo... whaddam I doing wrong here....?

Once you zero out all the fuel... How do you get the bloody thing lit? :confused: I reckon I'm just doing something else wrong... I tried both Kilograms and Pounds for units of measure. Always thought the jet should be able to fly clean configuration with internal fuel only.

I did some views of the external model, the newest MiG-21M and MF look VERY NICE. Very clean and smooth surfaces with accurate detail. The VC also has been cleaned up nicely. A definate improvement over the 2.0 Beta. Not sure the repaints will work for the newer MiG tho... The read-me states that any repaint skins will have to be re-worked.

All my previous MF skins will work apart from the stores/loadouts which need fixing, if you want any of my old skins on the new M model make sure you swap out the vc textures for the ones that come with the M model.

That's good news Steve, You have some spectacular skins out there for the earlier versions of this MiG-21. :medals:

Zeroing out the fuel does work to unlock the throttle. Just that I'm so used to having petrol in the tanks before lighting up the can. I finally got off the ground tho... This project just keeps getting better and better, but I'm a bit biased.... I have always liked the MiG-21 as well as the Sukhoi Su-9 and 11 variants. The structural appearance of the MiG-21 definately gives an accurate impression for its sole purpose.

Flusirainer, do you have plans to do a MiG-21BIS or MiG-21UM? The "humpback" MiG-21BIS is an even more sinister looking variant of this classic Russian warjet. :russia:
