Kurt,

Now I know why your campaigns take so long to develop...outstanding job! :salute:

Luftwaffe Behelfshangar

Thie is the CFS2 small hangar B repainted to become a Luftwaffe behelfshangar - which means auxiliary hangar. This one is very close to what the real thing looked like. These were simple barn-like structures - bare wood sides and tar paper roofing held down with board battens. They usually had no hangar doors or windows and would accomodate a single airplane. This will be a part of the 354th FG campaign.

Good looking shack CK.

Would it be useful to have a DP with no doors, so an airplane could be parked inside without going kaboom?

Again great stuff CK!

Stalagluft? Any Tom, Dick or Harry got a trojan horse, I feel a great escape coming on....

Thanks guys.

Discus, that could be done but the inside of the hangar does not have textures, so you would see right through the interior wall as if it was not there. Lost opportunity there.

Parking Structures

Great Job to date, Cap. Looking forward to the new constructs.

The DP files I built for Robert John's Sub Pens are multi-sided - 3 "walls" and a "roof" that allow a sub to enter and be enclosed.

A real basic deal - just 4 rectangular damage boxes instead of a single all-encompassing box. If Discus is thinking of parking static planes inside a given hangar for looks [or damage appeal] this is certainly possible. That way it matters not if there's an interior to be seen thru.

I'll let one of you guys try it then. When the door is removed (the shaded dark area) by making it transparent, all that can be seen through it is the scenery beyond. Looks like the sides of the hangar have disappeared.

If the walls were skinned on the inside it would look ok, but they are not. That's the problem, not whether the dp can be modified.

Darned if these don't look just about as good as Gary Burns' RAF hangars. And to think that they are stock MS hangars over 10 years old. Well done Captain!
