Hallo friends,

can some one point me to nice sceneries where US pilots of the ARMY, AIRFORCE and NAVY learned to fly and trained to operate the
Sikorsky HSS1, H-34's?

Best regards

Michael

As a Midshipman in the summer of 1963, I participated in Naval Aviation orientation in several places.

One was helicopter flight at NAS Ellyson Field, part of the Pensacola complex. At the time we got to fly in the Bell TH-1 "MASH" helo and the H-34. The TH-1 was the primary trainer, the H-34 for advanced. Lots of Marine instructors and students there.

At the time both types were painted in overall orange.

I don't know of any sceney for it, but maybe there is some somewhere.

You might try this for NAS Whiting.
It's just Whiting North. The North and South fields set will be available upon FlightSim.com relaunch.

I love my MAIW, but be careful with the AI models. :ernaehrung004:
You can easily wind up with over 100 new aircraft in ONE folder.
People tend to discover MAIW just before it takes a longer time for FS9 to start up.
But yeah, Whiting North is some nice scenery.

I was just about to get into this stuff in the Aircraft Carrier Thread. :loyal:
