US F-1 Team is history

Came across this earlier today (Aus Time) Caz.
I guess it is not a surprise but a few of us were hanging out for it to happen.
Looks as if "Team Russian Mafia" aka "Stefan GP" will be very happy, not that I would like to see them on the grid ......:censored:......... why do I think I see a touch of Bernie in this whole mess????
 
US F1 have confirmed they will not race in 2010, but hope to be on the grid in 2011... From the new teams they have been at it the longest, both Lotus and Virgin have achieved a lot more in a lot less time. Face it, F1 is not going to happen in the US.

Campos Meta 1 changed their name to 'Hispania Raqcing' today btw.

Any team that does not develop a car in the wind tunnel is peeing straight into the wind, so to speak.
This was one of them.
There are others, they are wasting their time, and sponsors' money.

The entire game is built around real-life airflow management...

I realise that Ferry, checked their bona fides out some time ago.
Hardly an operation that I hold in high regard, but we'll see.
And I'm always inclined to think that funding an Eastern European F1 outfit would be a good way for 'Russian Mafia Inc.' and its 'Subsidiary Regional' offshoots to launder money ........ :toilet:

As were her entire family who Bernie sponsored to leave the old 'Yugoslavia' as the Balkan Conflict was beginning to take shape.
He staffed his defunct 'pay-per-view' TV operation with them.
