Danville, VA <February 5, 2011> VIRginia International Raceway today announced on Monday, February 7th, the hit show BBC America will feature VIRginia International Raceway during the Top Gear Season 15 Special Episode. The show will run at 10:20pm. http://www..bbcamerica.com/tvschedule.jsp
The show features Jeremy Clarkson and his co-hosts Richard Hammond (the fast young guy) and James May (the ditzy everyman) on a US Tour traveling from North Carolina to New York. The secret filming of the show took place at VIR on September 15, 2010. Clarkson piloted a Mercedes SLS AMG, while Hammond was at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and May had the luxury of testing the Ferrari 458 Italia.
