USA Air Show crash

Red Arrows crash

A very sad video clip. One's thoughts are always with the families in such a tragedy.

As many might know, one of the Red Arrows went down near Bournemouth, UK on Saturday, killing the pilot Flt. Lt. Jon Egging. Flying Red 4, he appears to have departed right approaching Runway 8 and crashed in a field, slithering down an embankment into the River Stour. Eye witnesses have reported him attempting to evade residential buildings nearby. I believe he stayed with the aircraft rather than eject but I'm can't be sure. Another very sad day after a superb display at the Bournemouth Air Festival.

There was also a wing walker that fell two hundred feet to his death yesterday near Detroit Michigan.Very bad weekend for airshows.
