Using CFS3 aircraft in FSX?

Apologies if this has been answered before but I couldn't find any info after several forum searches here.

What needs to be done, if possible, to use CFS3 addon aircraft in FSX? I notice the ones I've downloaded have no panel folders in them for a start, does this mean the gauges are called from the model file itself? If that is the case I assume they aren't usable in FSX as is.

Thanks for any help,

Al

Hello Al, I'd forget that idea entirely unless you have access to source files. A CFS3 model, .m3d format, is a very different beast to an FSX .mdl file. Even Arno's ModelConverterX is of no help since the CFS3 format is quite undocumented.

Sorry! (I am a CFS3 fan and modeler)
