using FSX objects in FS9

do you guys think there's any issues with this. Ive snuck one or two into my scenery in the past, but ive made up a lib of some usfull obs i like, but wonder'd where i stand putting them in 9 scenery's on a bigger scale.

I'd avoid anything that looks like a DXT5/DDS texture or uses them, but maybe just do a few at a time?

texture's arnt the problem, ive converted them over to BMP and they work no problem

I understand where you're coming from Ian. Both are an M$ products. and yes they have the intellectual rights to both.
No, you don't have their permission, and no you're not benefitting in any way from what you are doing. And you will make it clear whose property it is.

So much has been done to and with these sims over the last 25 odd years, and nothing has or will ever happen (IT WON'T!)....upload away..I know I have/you have and will continue to do so.
