Now, can someone direct me to some instructions on how to work with carriers in FSX?? I hate to admit it but this was my first landing and takeoff on an FSX carrier. :salute:

Whoops. Nevermind. Just found the manual. Gotta fly now. :mixedsmi:
 
Anyone able to get the LSO to function?? I've modified my panel.cfg and added the entry per the manual, but all he does is hold his arms out. Seems like I'm missing something, but not sure what. :salute:

Sorry I wasn't more specific in my thoughts. What I meant was that it was as if I was missing a *.dll or other program that the LSO setup needs to function.

Basically it's a Window and xml gauge added to the panel.cfg. I can open the window and the LSO is standing there with his arms and paddles outstretched, but there is no animation as expected when I deviate from the landing flight path.

I have a support ticket in with Vertical Studios, so we'll get this sorted out in time. I was just wondering if someone else might have the same issue, or if it is just my setup.

I should add that this issue isn't detracting from addon. The install is straightforward, the vessel looks fantastic, and I've made about 20 traps and take offs without the LSO.
 
I get the square window for the LSO but no LSO. Maybe he's down in the "dirty shirt" wardroom getting coffee and a slider. Somebody go tell him there's a recovery in progress! :icon_lol:
Aside from the quirky LSO gauge, an outstanding ship with great detail. Pardon me for being dumb, but how do you get down to the hangar bay? Is the Y (slew) key the only option?

Did you by any chance make a typing error? You can block the text in the manual (shift+mouse) and then save it as wordfile (and then hopefully, but I haven’t tried yet) copy it into your panel file).<o:p></o:p>

Does anyone know where I can find the entries for AICarriers? They do not seem to be in the manual.

Here ya go, I titled it "Vertigo CV-6 Enterprise" because I have the other FSX CV-6's too. Enter this at the bottom of your aicarriers.cfg file and make XX the next sequential formation #.
