A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Ships Add-Ons

Description: I did some digging around and found a model of the USS Ranger from World of War Ships. While unusable in CFS2 it made a good reference to build around and use to make CFS2 usable textures. From what I can tell this is the Ranger from around 1944 but the paint doesn't look right but basic gray works well for just about everything.

DP is stock Hiryu with hitboxes moved to fix the model as the Hiryu size is close to the Ranger. I'm sure it could use some work but works fine as is.

Many thanks on your effort to overhaul the existing model, I like the greyscale! :encouragement:
 
Thanks all!!! I would say it was fun but getting the model out of Blender and loaded into MCX with textures was rage inducing. After changing to .dae and hand editing I got things working right.

Fun Fact: This model was never in gMax at all. It was Blender> MCX export as FS2004 with keep X file for each LOD>FS2002 MakeMDL.exe set to CFS2 and each LOD loaded in MakeMDL.
