v-35 is OUT NOW

one mans opinion

sorry - I cant help with your comparison as I did not buy the F33....

This Is The Plane I've Been Waiting For....

There are really only 3 important airplanes in the world, and they are in order :
the Dc-3
the Stearman PT-17
the Beech Bonanza V-35

all the others are Great Planes...but these are Great AND Important in every aspect

The Dc-3 remains the best all around all weather, all fields hauler serving in virtually every Nation on every continent in the World...still in service in good numbers today.

The Stearman trained the US and many other Allied forces to fly - so they could fight
thus enabling the great fighter and bomber planes to become significant..still in service in good numbers today.

The V-35 enticed an entire generation of civilian and post war veterans to learn to fly or remain active in flight and helped establish and maintain a huge civilian flying population vital to commerce and transportation wherever there is industry....still in service today

the V-35...one damn fine airplane

Heywooood thanks for the feedback

do you know if it is setup to work with the reality xp530?

Also, which version is faster the v35 or the f33?

not sure as I do not have the reality xp530 but if it helps, Carenado has made the 3d knobs in the VC 'optional' with a control panel pop-up...so that alterations to the Nav/Radio stack can be made by the user...is that helpful?

again - I do not have the F33 - but from what I remember - the V-35 was a hot rod airframe that just needed the right powerplant option to achieve a relatively high cruise speed...like the Navion

The F33 and the V35 have the same performance, pretty much. Speed wise, they cruise within a knot or two of each other. The Carenado offerings have pretty much the same avionics on board, which leaves you with your preference for the T-tail or the V-tail.

I bought the F33 because I love the Bonanza and the V35 wasn't yet announced. The V35 has always been a must-have, since it was the first general aviation plane I ever flew in, so I bought it, too. I probably would not have gotten the F33 if it had come out second.

One good note -- the F33 had some problems when it was released, and since the two are essentially the same, the V35 turns out to be one of Carenado's cleanest releases yet.

thanks!

Then reducing the price must have more to do with getting f33 customers to purchase again than with the add-on itself.

Smart move on Carenado's part. I remember at the time being disappointed when they released the F33 and not the V35. Now in hindsight it makes perfect sense; they were just maximizing sales!!

This is a brillaint addition to my hanger - thankyou so much Carenado!
Now, if they could just add raindrops on the VC windshield (like Ant's Sierra and Lotus' L-39) it would be perfect! :jump:

Umm, does anybody know if any older V35 paints (there seem to be some lovely ones around) would work on this?

Well, I've been doodling around with the aircraft cfg.'s [CameraDefinition.XXX] sections to tweak it just a little more to my personal preferences.

I just could not stand it any longer that the "Radios & GPS" selection in the VC would not allow one to set up, "click on the buttons" of the GPS unit!

I'll add my changes to the [CameraDefinition.XXX] sections without giving away all of Carenado's hard work....

[CameraDefinition.001]
Title = "Right Seat"

InitialZoom = 0.7 //============== was 0.40
....

InitialPbh=0.0, 0, 360 //============= 20, 0, 340
PanAcceleratorTime=0 //============= I add this to all panable views so they'll pan faster

[CameraDefinition.002]

InitialZoom = 1.10 //=============== 0.89

InitialXyz=0.55, 0, 0 //============ 0.32, -0.3, -0.2

[CameraDefinition.006]

========== Now this section I took from the Aircreation's "Rear Seat" ===============
