VC Window issues...

..... The issue is this: I have a freeware Connie I found, (Not the Alphasim one I think), and it flies wonderfully. But whenever I have rain, in the VC the windows sort of black out, only its blue instead of black :p Either way I can't see out the VC when its raining. It has something to do with the fact its ported over from FS9 I think. I also have this same problem with the Virtavia Tu-160. What can I do to fix it?

maybe it's the glass-texture

Maybe it's the "typical" FSX glass-textures (glass.bmp or glass_t.bmp) problem. If you send me a pm, I'll see if I can send you some different glass-textures, maybe that will solve the problem.

Regards, Erik.

Well the fix in the link in my last post worked! So if anyone is looking for a good freeware Lockheed Constellation 749, this is the one to get! Just use the fixes in the link from my last post, and it flies wonderfully! Its just really important to pay attention to the IAS and engine management. The only other issue is that in the VC you need to use Control+Enter to move the view back a bit, as its practically right on top of the panel! Unlike the JF Connie, it doesn't have a virtual cabin. Does anyone reading this use the JF Connie?

Check the [EyePoint] section in the aircraft.cfg. The three numerical values in there list the longitudinal, lateral and vertical (from the aircraft center) position of the eyepoint.
