Depending on how well we pull off the F8F expansion pack if its a good idea we would then most probably release '1' for the Panther and cougar.

njope, never been to Mcminville, but now that i know whats out there, i gaurantee that i'll be there next wednsday, with camera ( and extra memory cards )

It's been a while since I visited Evergreen, Pam, but I drove past it a few weeks ago coming home from the coast. It looks like they've really expanded their offerings. Anyone who lives close enough to visit definitely should. It's an aviation nut's dream! I'm planning a trip back there soon myself.

Warchild, you gotta go! I was there a few weeks ago on the way to Cannon Beach via my Dad's place. They've expanded like crazy. They have three buildings right now: Aviation, Space (complete with an indoor vertically mounted Titan missile -- the bottom 1/4 is in an underground silo!), and an IMAX theater. Along with the Spruce Goose, there's a great collection of WW2-to-modern planes (including an F-102 and F-106, for fans of 50's/60's jets).

Next year they're opening a fourth building. This one is a family water park. They've taken the 747 they converted into a firebomber and put it on top of a building. You'll go up into the 747, and waterslide down from inside it down to the main building!

how about this picture then, 1952,An F6F drone was reportedly used to launch the first Sparrow from an aircraft because there had been a couple of fatal accidents at China Lake as a result of rocket launches. This picture, furnished by Phillip Fridell, shows an F6F drone (note the extended tail wheel) carrying a Sparrow, although it was being piloted at the time.
