something bad too with vertical speed indicator. For "0" arrow shows not 270 degrees but some like 275-280.

I made a repaint for the chart drawer, so it displays a nice old flight map of the area to the southern tip of Bougainville.

Unfortunatly I goofed up the upload - I put it in the FS2004 area. If a mod reads this, maybe you can move the file in the appropriate library? I uploaded it here:

Err, I want to add, there's a small drawback with this. The map leaks through the instruments at a few tiny edges - no big deal in my view, but be sure to backup the old consoles.dds so you can roll back if you don't like it.

Just use that dial under the gauge to change it

The big hand is marking off 100s, and the little hand 1000s (when pointing at the numbers), like they're supposed to. The problem is that the little hand is behaving 'improperly". In the screen shot above I am at 3000 feet. So, the little hand should be pointing at the "3", but it isn't. The odd thing is that when at 0, 5000, 10,000, 15,000 etc., meaning when the little hand should be pointing straight up or straight down, it does so. It's just that between those values it doesn't point right. I "splained" all this to the fine folks at customer support, but so far they have only suggested I use the altimeter calibration knob. I wore out my "D" key but that didn't fix it! Unless there is another calibration knod someplace..?

AFAIK It's still with the coder. (and no it's not the same one as the Bearcat or Panther).

So we can take that as a no - there is no patch yet.

No worries. I have already deleted the product of my HD and will never rush to buy a Vertigo product when first released.
 
Was considering buying this bird right now, but (and a great but) after reading this posts and comments, will wait for all the corrections (sound, glasses, etc).
Looks like an unfinished product.

The patch is set for release on 31st July 2011

Corrections

1, Corrected the attitude indicator Snags when rolling, it snags when going through level flight.
2, Removed the Ball turret animation.
3, Corrected the Altitude Gauge.
4, Corrected the Slip Gauge.
5, Increased the cockpit glass slightly.
6, Corrected the altitude Gauge (3000' and so on)
7, Corrected the Glass on the fuselage windows.
8, Made the Battery Generator sound less intrusive.
9, Added more bump and spec to the Fuselage and Wings.
10, BONUS Added a new additional FDE, now theres '2' FDE files, Advanced Flight Dynamics and Easy Flight Dynamics.
11, Corrected the VC light.
12, BONUS added a new paint-scheme.

Right, I wouldn't give out any details anymore with comments like that lol. Time for WWIII so that we appreciate the values of life a bit more. We (including me) have grown spoiled beyond belief. :icon_lol:

:guinness: on an extra paintscheme. I guess they'll wait with the paintkit until they are sure that the modeller won't alter any of the textures anymore. Wild guess.

Yup same here. Needs to be reactivated I guess. No worries though, wasn't going to fly anymore today anyway. Time for some supernatural.

Now is OK. I see the new file 1.1.

Now we see double skins for too same repaint. I checked Aircraft and I noticed two kinds of model - EASY and HARD (Flight dynamics) but how I know witch version I take ? (Maybe it was good idea to add on the thumbnail small text "Realistic" or sentence in the name of Skin?)
