A thread in the FS2004 forum reminded me of the Alphasim freeware Vickers Valiant. It's an older model, but still highly usable. Needs a good bit of work to really make her shine (2D and VC panel work, better skins, some nice effects). And it is the effects that I am needing some info about.
In stock form, the plane comes set with very dense black smoke with the instructions to turn it on via the Smoke System at high RMPs (such as take off and climb out) and to shut it off when the engines are throttled back. I looked up some video footage of the Valiant and did not really see all that much smoke coming from the engines.
Would anyone happen to know how much/little the Valiant smoked at various points in the throttle range? Heavy smoke at high RPM with light smoke at lower RPM?
