video card question

I would like to up grade my video card from a evge 8800gt to a evga gtx460. The question I have is which gtx460 card to choose from. The budget I have is around the 150.00 area. Fsx and rise of flight are my main flight simulators along with cfs2 and wings of prey. The cpu I am using is a e8500 overclocked to 3.4 ghz. Thank you for any help.

I upgraded my EVGA 8800gts to a EVGA GTX460 1gb and couldn't be happier with it. FSX really liked the upgrade to:mixedsmi:
Here is an SE card at newegg that fits right in your budget, plus its free shipping.:jump:

Its clock speeds are alittle lower than the card i have, but with a little overclocking it should be a real nice upgrade for you. If your willing to spend alittle more this is the card i went with.

I picked it up at a local compusa for 200 and change.

Having had good luck with ASUS products - MOBO and Monitor - went with their GTX460, flawless so far. My CPU's an E8500, like yours, but haven't had the nerve to OC it - how involved was that?

I just ordered a new video card today from newegg. The card I opted for is a asus geforce GTX460 ENGTX 460. The main reason I opted for this card over the evga 460 series was the price of $150.00 after the rebate. I also liked the findings that this card ran cooler than most of the other 460 series cards. This will be my first non evga card. Is any one out in fsx land using this card or asus in general and what are your findings ?

You shouldn't have any trouble ASUS makes very good video cards and for the price it's a great deal.
