The DeHavilland Beaver DHC2 after getting FSX became my most liked older plane other then the J-3 Cub.
The video was made before installing REX2. I was using the freeware fswaterconfigurator at
www.strikingsoftware.com
Enjoy the video.

WOW this looks fun..
Thanks for the Video, as always it is beautiful..
BRAVO..:salute:

I may have to get this loaded and wreck a few planes in FSX now..LOL..

How did you get such good graphics and good performance? I just installed FSX and it seems rather choppy, especially compared to any version of CFS3.

wsmwsm,
After FSX loads, on the left hand side of the menu go to settings on the bottom of the screen you will see customize. You can then put the settings you what in FSX.

This should help.

HouseHobbit, The planes in FSX do not wreck like the planes in CFS3. lol

Today I took off form a local airport in a Piper L-4. I heard some thunder. looked to the north and thunder storms were moving. Got up and look outside and sure enough there were storms moving in from the north and we had rain. I had the REX weather engine on and sure enough it showed the present weather where ever I was flying. Will show a video later to show what I mean. FSX will not replace CFS3 and the expansions for me but it is fun to fly.

Oh, I've fiddled around with customizing things. But I've seen nothing like what you've got going there.

Thanks, will take a look.

Any suggestions as to the settings to balance performance and appearance?

The settings you use depends on your system. I have the FSX turned on ultra high and 20 fps.
That works well with my system.
