Video trouble

After switching to Win 7 and a new computer I have this strange effect. When in normal 2D panel viewmode, the screen toggles by itself between these two views with about 2-3 seconds intervals. It looks as its the same intervals as the message blinking in upper screen position. I notice also the 2D bitmap background disappears as long as I trigger the gun butttons.
Any idea guys? (The graphic card is an ATI radeon)

It's all! I havn't done any experimenting with video settings yet. Installed it yesterday.

Having said that, I must say this looks fantastic. It prooves you dont need a high end computer to run CFS2 with greate result. Its a HP Pavilion Slimline medium/low (64bit) which comes with 6Gb and a ATI Radeon HD 5450. This runs CFS2 at a steady 60 FRS no matter what's in the sky. My old XP rig with a top PCI NVidea card seldom did more than 20-22.

All right,.. the issue disappears if I disable the ATI card Anti Aliasing and let CFS2 controle it. But why?
 
Issue solved.

Downloading the latest ATI driver fixed it! I now push up the graphics to high quality and just fly around with a big smile on my face. Rebirth of CFS2.
